Once again, it is that time of the year where we review and resubmit the SDSS Constitution and By-Laws to AMU/APUS in order to meet our requirements as an organization. In 2020, SDSS went through a major redraft and refreshening drafting process in order to clarify and strengthen the structure, guidelines, and compass of SDSS effectiveness going forward. The 2020 constitution and By-Laws were drafted to become a stronger guideline and compass for the organization’s future leadership and membership as well as serving a basis for preserving continuity, and the important strategic role of SDSS as an essential organization in our related fields.
This year the leadership team of officers and advisors made updates highlighted in yellow on pages 11 and 12.
We particularly made updates for:
- Article XI: Organizational Digital Infrastructure and Assets on Page 11 that updates the following items:
- Stratfor Worldview subscription; CiCentre subscription; 6 Udemy virtual courses purchases; MailChimp Free account; and SurveyMonkey Free Account.
- Article XIII: Current SDSS Leadership Team and Advisory Board Members on Page 12 that updates the following items:
- Updated organizational leadership structure, roles, and names of officers to match current leadership structure.
If anyone has any questions or proposed suggestions, please do so by Tuesday, February 1st at 9:00 PM (EST).
Once the process is complete, we will submit the official 2022 version to AMU/APUS that same evening in order to meet our February 1st deadline. Thank you in advance! – Sam
