SDSS Officer Election Results for 2023-2024

Greetings SDSS Membership,

We have now concluded our February 2023 SDSS officer elections for the 2023-2024 fiscal year!

We’d like to thank those who participated in the voting process as well as showing your support for the SDSS election process.

Also, we’d like to thank the 2022-2023 leadership team (officers and advisors) for their contributions and the roles they played in this past fiscal year. It’s been an interesting and challenging year for all, but we persevered and moved forward, while taking on new challenges, as well as maneuvering SDSS in this constantly evolving national and global strategic reality environment we all operate in.

We shall continue to do so with the new fiscal year of 2023-2024. This year, we have the same officers returning but the leadership structure has changed slightly. Other than that, congratulations to the new leadership team!

1.) For those who didn’t run for office but are still interested in playing a role or being involved with SDSS activities, there are plenty of other options, whether it’s through existing SDSS projects/events or feel free to propose new ones that relate to both the SDSS mission and one’s professional/academic focus too.
